We’ve all been there:

An unexpected tummy ache. The most important button suddenly falls off. Heels too thin and you’re now aerating the venue’s lawn. The threat of rain without an umbrella. With the right planning and preparation, your wedding day can skip all these stressors, and more. Sometimes the biggest problems can be solved with the smallest solutions!

I’ve shot so many weddings now, I know all the ways a wedding day can go sideways. To help, I wanted to make a list of emergency wedding day items, that frequently save the day! Some of these I even try to bring myself, at almost every wedding you can hear me say, at least once, “Don’t worry, I have a blow torch in my truck!” Or something similar. (If you were wondering, a small culinary blow torch works amazingly for lighting sparklers quickly!)

But, even though I do my best to always be prepared, I wanted to share with you my ‘Wedding Day Emergency Kit’ list – small things you can pack and bring to your wedding to solve the biggest problems. Most of these items are self-explanatory, but I’ll give some context with a few of them.

If you see any gaps in my list, or have any suggestions that should be added, let me know in the comments below!
